A lectio magistralis to talk about the Umbrian painter Alberto Burri and illustrate the activity of the homonymous Foundation which in CittĆ di Castello carries on the legacy of one of the great masters of Italian art. The art critic and academic Bruno CorĆ , president of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, was a special guest, who spoke at the academy for a 360-degree focus on the figure of Burri, on his work and on the commitment of the Burri Foundation – at national and international – in promoting conferences, debates and conventions to promote knowledge of this great protagonist of the culture of the twentieth century. The Foundation operates in two locations: Palazzo Albizzini and the Ex Seccatoi del Tabacco, both in CittĆ di Castello, in the province of Perugia. The Seccatoi, in particular, has been hosting since last April the exhibition āLa Luce del neroā to which CorĆ referred in his speech.
