ACADEMIC COURSE IN INTERIOR DESIGN

The Second-Level Academic Diploma (equivalent to the Italian laurea specialistica) is awarded upon completion of the two-year course in Interior Design.

The course aims to trainĀ students to design not only interior spaces and their furnishings but alsoĀ objects for mass production. The program equips students with the knowledge and skills to work in theĀ world of design, both as freelancers and as central figures within companies operating in the interior architecture sector using the latest technology and 3D-modelling software.

INTERIOR DESIGNER

This design professional deals with interior spaces and their furnishings, especially regarding how they function, and determines the most appropriate materials for a clientā€™s purpose and budget. Interior designers carefully design all the details of a space by considering how it will be lived in.

3D MODELLER

This design professional uses digital tools to manipulate shapes and produce finished files ready for use by machines for cutting, extrusion, and stereolithography. 3D modelling requires an in-depth understanding of the software, which allows a company to optimise its internal resources. The professional modeller is often a company’s point of reference for researching and proposing simple solutions to complex problems.

LIGHTING DESIGNER

This professional deals with the illumination of spaces. The Lighting Designer’s contribution is essential for the design of residential, industrial, and commercial spaces. A positive visual experience can help restore trust in relationships, facilitate verbal communication, and enhance object display.
The lighting designer shapes light in all its expressions of intensity and hue to make the living experience enjoyable.
