Pitti Uomo reconfirmed again this year, one of the most important men’s fashion event in the world. This fashion event is a reference not only to those who want to do fashion his profession, but it is always a surprise and sensory stimuli for those who work in the field of graphics, photography and new media in general.
Approximately 24,000 detached tickets marked a 15% compared to 2014. To be added to this number: the press agents, buyers and bloggers who have told the news of men’s fashion for next autumn/winter season 2015/2016. There was also an increase of Italian and foreign buyers over the past year. However, numbers alone never tell a satisfactory story. They need to be interpreted and declined with the words to define a frame of meaning for an event of this magnitude.
Pitti Uomo, now at 87° Edition, had as focus contemporary man able to mingle with the smells, the sounds and colors of the city. A men’s fashion is capable of combining the time heterogeneity in relationships. The man falls into the street to taste the food and wine, fashion becomes the common denominator among people and their emotions.
Florence was immortalized in his background beauty together with the most influential people in fashion by photographers.
