The LABA – Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, branch of  the LABA of Brescia, has already structured academic courses, on the 3 + 2 (new system ) academic path, offering the opportunity to achieve academic diplomas of 1st and 2nd level ( equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and graduate degree ) in five orientations : Photography, Graphic Design and Multimedia, Visual Arts – Painting , Design and Fashion Design.

1st  level academic diplomas are equivalent to the L-3 class university degrees  (Discipline of Fine Arts , Fashion and Performing Arts ). .

About Us

The LABA of Florence is a an institute of top level artistic training. An institute where teachers are professionals in the subjects, the Liberal Academy of Fine Arts has created synergies and cooperation with important institutions both private and public such us: The Cartiere Fedrigoni (international paper mill industry),the Piaggio Foundation, the Alinari Museum, the Cherubini Academy of Music and so on. Therefore students have the opportunity to start working through training and internships.

  • Diploma in Photography, Graphic Design and Multimedia, Design, Visual Arts - Painting and Fashion Design: 1st level Diploma (Undergraduated) and 2nd level Diploma (Postgraduated).

    The Liberal Academy of Fine Arts of Florence,decentralized branch of Brescia, offers academic courses of 3 plus 2 years (restructured duration) for diplomas at 1st and 2nd level (equivalent to the short degree and specialization degree) in five subjects: Photography, Graphic Design and Multimedia, Design, Visual Arts/Painting and Fashion Design.

    The LABA laboratories in Florence act as logistical support for students enrolled in the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti in Brescia that is legally recognized by Ministerial Decree of April 27, 2000.

Located in the south of  Florence , the LABA (University of  Fine Arts in Florence) , brunch of the LABA of Brescia and legally recognized by the Ministry of Education (DM 27/04/00 ), has a structure of approximately 1,000 square meters, with the front yard , back garden and  laboratories that are equipped with the latest generation of multimedia equipment . The building is fully wired for wireless connection , each classroom is equipped with video projectors and LED screens that allow the execution of interactive lessons . There are several Mac work stations available to students , complete with all the programs used for post- production , modeling and 2D and 3D animation, CAD design and interior architecture.
