Museo Salvatore Ferragamo was born in 1995. Through the MuseumĀ the world knew the artistic qualities of Salvatore Ferragamo and the role it has played in the history not only of the shoes but also of international fashion.
The Museum has seven rooms: there is the exhibition of the permanent collection, with the vast historical archive models where there are works that the founder has developed in 40 years of activity.
The Museum is housed in the historic headquarters of the company, the medieval Palazzo Spini Feroni. He has seen an expansion in 2006 and today occupies the basement of the building. The goal is to have more space to show more than the story of Salvatore Ferragamo relationships that always exist between theĀ Business, Art andĀ Design.
The Museum, perfectly embedded in the fabric of the city is often combined with via TornabuoniĀ big names tours. There is also the possibility for cultural institutions to organize exhibitions, workshops and events that enhance contemporary creativity.
