The LABA introduces: Shades & Shadows

INVITO_FASHION_MAIL-1Coinciding with the fifteenth anniversary, the LABA approaches the world ofĀ paradeĀ with their students: will be, in fact, the students of the Department of Fashion to interpreting the various fashion hues.
The parade will split into two stages, united by notions of elegance and tailoring.

The first part will be the presentation of evening gowns and dresses, inspired by the neapolitan fashion house Bagatelle, where, thanks to the collaboration of Aldo de Angelis (resp. Bagatelle style Office), classic and elegant models, will alternate to current models and trend, looking for absolute elegance and endless variations of contemporary womanhood. Deep slits and necklines, pastel colors and bold colors, floral patterns, related will be enhanced by light fabrics and fine chiffon, crepe and lace, embellished with precious stones, elaborate floral, delicate plissƩ details and embellished with exclusive accessories in feathers.

The second part will be a tribute to Madeleine Vionnet, fashion designer and creator of one of the most prestigious Haute Couture Fashion House in all of France and creator of “cut on the bias“. Starting from images and its leaders, have been reconstructed the patterns then replay models faithful to the original and treated all aspects. An exercise that allowed students to discover the secrets of a woman who is playing as a seamstress and that in 30 years has revolutionized the world of creation of the clothes. During the event, moreover, will be the final projects of students of firstĀ year.
