THREE-YEAR COURSE OF STUDY FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE FIRST LEVEL DIPLOMA
The Visual Arts orientation at LABA , already structured on 3 +2 (new system): as all courses of the Libera accademia di Belle Arti of Florence is characterized by a strong commitment to contemporary art, providing, in the study program, disciplines related to Video Art , Installation and Performance.
The painting course aims to develop skills on issues and practices present in the art of our time, taking into account the diversity of languages and expressive techniques, through the subsequent development of an individual research.
The Academy has implemented a number of collaborations with companies and institutions, both public and private , in order to allow students to have meaningful experiences through internships , apprenticeships and meetings with artists.
Students have at their disposal an exhibition space, a showcase next to their painting laboratories that symbolizes the passage between what life is inside the Academy and a first approach with the public.
The temporary exhibition of the works of the students of Visual Arts – Painting gives life to the exposition Postetd Project curated by Prof. Fabio Cresci and Prof. Eugenia Vanni, which is developed throughout the academic year with continuity.
